I was surprised how much German Happy is in youtube that I've never heard. Must have been huge in over there in the Mid 90's as there are so many.
While I don't like hardcore if it's in Japanese. I don't mind it in German. Must be my heritage comming through lol.

Yeah it's all very catchy. So much good stuff was out then. I think they were a bit ahead of the UK with productions at that time. While now I think it's probably the other way around.
Blumchen aka Jasmin Wagner would have to be my favourite. I don't think there is a hotter and more euphoric vocalist. Used to be nicknamed the rave princess in Germany.

Hard Trance.
Yeah it's a hard genre to define. It's way to fast to be called Hard Trance when most of it is near 170bpm. I've seen it under a few genres like Euro Rave, German Happy Hardcore, Pop Rave etc.

Ah Marusha, she was the worlds first female hardcore dj/producers. Made some awesome tunes back in the day. Westbam is brilliant too!!
