I think it sounds a little too mechanical (if that makes sense). It chugs along in an almost momentum-killing way, and it doesn't sound as wholesome as stuff from a few years ago, or earlier. I liken the sound of it to when you're mixing, and you're too late in the mix, and all you've got playing are the later stages of the outro of the previous tune, and the early stages of the intro to the tune coming in - it just lacks a bit of umph.
