What do people think these days about raving, can you get much faster dancing, Where are the best places to rave.

To be completetly honest, raving can be one of the worst things you could do to yourself, if you get w/ the wrong part of the scene, caus every one you meet in that area of the scene will just want to **** you over for there selfish needs, and wants.
so, just stay away from those ppl, and do your own thing, caus thats what it's realy all about; that and the music.

WA (Australia) has a huge rave scene!!im from oz and rave alot! raving is the best...yay hee hee i love to rave actually"i live to rave" heehee lol. so come to oz and ill show u a well wicked time..yay!

You just got onto a forum dedicated to a genre of music that is pretty much non-existent outside of the rave scene, and you ask what people think of raves - pretty silly, innit?
Raves are what you make of them. You wanna dance to fast, repetitive electronic music, amongst people who love that music as much as you do? Go right on ahead. 
You wanna be in a dark place with lots of pretty lights, where you can load yourself up on drugs and enjoy the trippy visuals where people usually won't notice how toasted you are, let alone judge you for it? You can do that, too. 
You want to risk the security/police presence and sell drugs to a captive market, and make a pretty penny? It's a definite possibility. 
Just keep it safe, keep it smart, and keep it alive so we can all enjoy it in however way we wish. Oh, and flip the "Smile" switch in your face on, and keep it there, cuz there's nothing worse than mopey faces at a rave

Sounds like you party over on the east coast in the USA. Heh. The scene is dark, selfish, and pretty evil really. Of course there are exceptions and that's what makes parties fun :D
