I know that Smoogie is going to voice his opinion but IMO Building Shaker - DJ Marc Smith and Gammer is a massive track.

Not a bad tune I guess...
But here is an older and lesser known tune from 2001:

I see ellipsis :>. That's a nice trancecore track, funny how the sound of hardcore has changed over the course of ten, twenty years.

Can someone post smoogies own thread in here? So he knows where to spam his videos
they were supposedly supposed to do that, have one topic and then anytime the arsehole put up a new topic they would link it back to that one topic and close it out. Might as well have him IP banned, seeing as he's trolled many a times recently. Although I found Wilky a personal nuisance on here and deserved his IP ban, Smoogie is far worse imo.

Wilky got banned? Wow, I'm really out of the loop! Also, it turned out that those troll accounts were by raindancerob, not Smoogie.
On the bright side, at least this isn't yet another thread filled with twenty videos of early 90's Dutch hardcore that consists solely of a distorted 909 and hoover spitting out random notes! *promptly bludgeoned to the floor*

Building Shaker is definitely a belter. I wonder how it would have gone over if it were entirely in the 3/4 time signature (which would have made it hard to mix)?

I don't think it's lesser known amongst Freeform fans.
I think it was the time when Trancecore had switched into Freeform. You can hear the difference from the earlier Trancecore from around 97/98 compared to the Freeform of 2001/2002. Sharke's Bonkers mixes from 3-15 are a good way to hear the changes. The earlier Trancecore was just an off shoot of Happy Hardcore. Really Freeform should have borken away from Hardcore all together but the way I see it, it was the last genre of Hardcore to remain Hardcore rather than all that Clubland stuff which seems to have given way to a newer sound, Dubcore or what ever they call it.

It was on bonkers - how does that make it lesser known? lol
because alot of people who listened to Bonkers where only listening to it for the Hixxy mix. It is a shame really but I have even heard some people say that the Sharkey mix is 'boring' which is very nieve as once you have given Freeform a chance it is a great style and much less 'boring' than the mainstream stuff.

naah, if it was on bonkers, its going to be better known than the flip side of a lesser known track that didn't make it on any compilations, no matter what your assumptions on peoples listening habits! :)
