Any DJ unable to conceptually separate genre from technique and small-minded enough to assert what is and what isn't "music" probably should've come several hundred places lower than they actually did.

(back when progressive trance was progressive trance, and not just tech-trance moonlighting under a different genre) ;)

Yeah, it is mostly a production contest but I find it hard to blame the voters for that. Since track choice determines the lions share of what makes a good set and DJs these days are playing a lot of their own releases and promos, there's definitely a link to be made.

Does anyone on here actually buy/read the mag anyway? So why do we care. They only have one page of hardcore in it, and then that always depends on which head Kutski has that month. Saying that Gammer did well to get that high
