I've been looking for a YouTube channel that accepts submissions for UK Hardcore and Hard Dance, and promote those tracks. Kind of like what UKF does for bass music. If anyone has a channel like that, or knows of one, share 'em here!

Jay's website: http://hardcorehighlights.com http://www.youtube.com/HardcoreHighlights He usually only promotes free tracks, but also sometimes paid releases, mixes and stuff.

Youtube representation for Hardcore on Youtube is pretty thin on the ground.
It needs more mixes, more track promotions, more AMV's and the like.
Using my own music as a measure, it feels like there's less and less people doing it. They all seem to be getting picked off by larger labels calling copyright or the user themselves just getting bored.
AMV's a couple of years ago were very popular, but they've gone the same way. Not enough people want to risk doing it. Needs someone with a bit of innovation and inspiration to do something different and help introduce Hardcore to some new people.

It's a big shame that the big boys will file for copyright for a sample of their track being promoted for free, would be great if there was more out there, I'm sure there will be more brave promoters to shine through.

I'm doing what I can by providing mixes and original music on my own channel, but it's hard to get people to listen to it.
I always see Hardcore mixes on YouTube, though. They're doing pretty well, but sometimes I'll look at a user's channel for more mixes, and they won't post for 2 or 3 years.
Though, to be honest, I haven't had trouble with copyright claims with my Hardcore mixes, just my dubstep mixes. Not sure who's so ambitious about copyright in the Hardcore world to take down tracks and mixes from people that just want to support the music. That's something I'll never get about the general music scene.

i know of one claiming copyright because the Intro & Outro of tracks were being left in the mix at the start and at the end, it because the track can be edited and shifted back to original speed. i seen a few about.

That sort of happened to me, YouTube detected "Gammer & JB-C - Bigger & Bolder" but luckily it wasn't a proper copyright claim so I have no strikes on my account

Yeah, tends to happen to me more often than not, where they say "HEY, that isn't your music!....but whatever, have some ads" and do nothing. I've had that happen, but my video was also BLOCKED from most countries from viewing a mix I uploaded except Germany. Because Germans just love Hardcore. ;D

LOL! Probably 3/4 of the posted tracks here and on facebook are blocked to me. There are several special authorities that claim that music is owned by them even if it's usual K-pop posted by Whispering and no soul in this country is aware of such tracks. It's way too difficult to explain 100% of the story to you, but Germany sucks in this way.
