so what is everyone up 2 new years eve this year? ill probably end up doing the same as last year an get forced 2 go 2 wait 4 it ....................SLINKY!! OH JOY what fun. or not. my m8s arent really into hardcore and never wanna go 2 a rave on new years so i always have to go 2 bloody slinky. and i hate hard house!! its 2 SLOW!!!! not lookin 4ward 2 that at all. so where u all goin?
and another fact completley un related, i crashed my motorbike 2day!! some twat pulled out right infront of me! im ok, comletely mullered my knee tho! i need some sympathy peeps! someone make me a nice cuppa and dont forget the cookies!!

That's f***ed - I hope you knee gets better soon so you can get back to the serious business of going hard, both on your bike and off. I think everyone who decides to get on two wheels acknowledges the risks involved with riding an inherently unstable and less-visible vehicle that offers pretty much zero protection against whatever it is you're about to collide with, but it's still sad to see when the inevitable accidents do happen.

Thankfully my first and so far only motorbike accident wasn't too major - I had the good sense to know that I had no chance in hell of getting control back so I jumped off ... right before my bike wedged itself so far under a van that we had to jack the bastard up to get to the wreckage.
A friend of mine was also lucky: he lost control mid-corner at 70km/h on a mountain pass and went hurtling (without his bike) down a wooded slope and managed to stop himself without hitting a tree, suffering only minor gravel-rash in the process. Oh, and get this: neither of our bikes were written off, and we've fixed both to pretty much showroom condition!

As you can see, I don't have much of a problem with my fellow motorists (only with my own riding ability :P). That's cuz if there's one thing that I've learnt, it's that other motorists are *not* out to get you - they just don't see you or don't care, so it's more of a minefield. When I'm out there with no real protection save my helmet, I assume that everyone else has no f***ing idea what they're doing, and I ride with the assumption that they *will* fcuk up at the worst possible time (for me).

Fazza...sorry about the spill, mate. Most drivers just aren't looking out for motorcycles. The big problem is that in any accident, the driver of the bike is going to get the worst of it.
As far as New Year's, I'm booked for a party.

Gutted bout ya Bike m8 but wud like to offer more sympathy 4 being forced to go to Slinky, thats real s**t*y. HardHouse used 2 b gud, we're talkin 2/3 years ago, now its just !?@*&$!

Heh I like Hard House! Its no Hardcore but its pretty cool, with nice fat bass :)

I'll probably be stuck @ home like last year, and the year before...I always plan to go out then the people around me piss off somewhere else
