I'm told that the song I'm looking for may be a happy hardcore version of an original sound. They also suggested I ask here, since it's on Youtube everywhere, but a "chipmunk sound" vocal. I have the original, but no info on it...and need it for broadcast usage and licensing. Here's the info:
Who sang "Don't say goodbye. Your my star where ever you are"?
Before you answer, please read all of the information at the bottom, along with the lyrics.
Don't say goodbye
Try to tease and we've cried
Don't say goodbye
You're my star wherever you are
Don't say goodbye
Try to tease and we've cried
Don't say goodbye
You're my star wherever you are
I'm just wasting my time
I thought you were mine
Now all I try to find is you
What should I do
I'm all that I thought
I trust in you
I'm just hanging around
It seems that I'm drowning in the memories of you
Tell me what to do
I want you to know I'm here
I still believe
Just save me from tears (3)
Don't say goodbye
Try to tease and we'e cried
Don't say goodbye
You're my star wherever you are
Don't say goodbye (2)
Try to tease and we'e cried
Don't say goodbye
You're my star wherever you are
Don't say goodbye (2)
Who sung this song between 1998 to 2002 (female)?
It's a Dance/Europop (not hardcore) song that would have fit on all of the "Energy" dance radio stations (Energy 92-5 and 5 Chicago, Energy 101 Phoenix, Energy 98 online, Energy 92.7 San Fran or even 103.7 KTU and Party 93 Miami, etc). Originaally heard it ON NYC's KTU, before they turned "softer rock"
It's a younger sounding female singer that does not sound like the You Tube video "chipmunk" sound.
It is not "Nightcore", if they sound chipmunk-ish.
It is not Amber (as in 'One More Night')
I need this info for performance licensing issues. I need to know the group/performer, producer, year and writer of the song.
I'm not sure that the song charted, billboard or otherwise, within the USA.
If i could post the MP3, I would.
Once again, this is a dance song, European sound, not a basic song, like the Natalie - Live singing videos. The voice is higher than her's.
Dates again, 1998 to 2002 only. Out same time as Pauline Rubio's, but not the same song or artist.
Any help is appreciated.
ASCAP searches were not fruitful, without seeing lyrics, which you can't search.
