I guess that's not for us to know. Maybe he just gets lonely sitting in the studio all by himself.
I've heard a few comment on how good his writing skills are. Particularly vocals and melodic stuff.
I just assumed he can't engineer!

He doesn't have a PC of his own. He makes tracks on other people's computers in exchange for half the credits.
Thought everyone knew that.

That's also what I've heard. Gammer is obv much better at the technical side of things. I've heard an interview with dougal where he says that him and gammer work so well together because he is good at the things gammer is not so good at and vice versa.
I always think that dougal and gammer tunes have that special something which is missing from gammers solo tracks.

Just seen on Chris Fears Twitter he's done another with Dougal today.

Same. And that is fine. I think it's better to have several people do what they are good at and create a really good product than one person try to do everything but only do one thing particularly well but everything else average.

I don't think that anything is particularly missing from Gammer's tracks. I think he has done pretty damn good on his own. And he doesn't try and recreate the sounds of Dougal & Gammer collabs into his own tracks, his style definitely stands apart from the stuff they produce together. There have been some exceptions of course.
But I like how Dougal worded that. For awhile I thought he might be genuinely untalented and just rode the coattails of everyone he's collaborated with, but I've heard more information on what everyone has mentioned and have since changed my opinion of him. Pretty great of him to admit that they each have their weaknesses.
Also, I have also heard him and Chris Fear working on a lot of things together. Chris mentioned he's having an artist album coming out sometime next year. They also did a set or two at HTID In The Sun together as well. Have Dougal and Gammer stopped working together? Or are they just too busy to get into a studio together?

According to his status today, Dougal is:
"Bouncing in the studio @DJGammer".
Sweet.

Don't get me wrong I love gammers solo tracks also but his tracks with dougal sound a bit more professional imo.

Who in the name of Christ's shite is Dr Richards?
According to Discogs (http://www.discogs.com/Teez-I-Should-Have-Known-Better/release/2139882) Dr Richards was one of the writers of the track Dougal stole the vocals from.

I think that could be right about him getting lonely producing as one. Brisk rarely did solo work also. I guess some producers like bouncing off other ideas when making tunage.
Saw an interesting interview with Dougal done by Billy Bunter on youtube which was recent and he said him and Gammer were working out which direction they are taking for their next batch of hardcore tracks.
