Zonkers was suppose to be a parody but it almost looked too good and the tracklist wasn't licensed so no matter what it wasn't going to go anyway so it basically looked like a rip off.
You can't copyright an art style or an artist style of work, logo yes, font yes (if it was created by the artist), name yes...

If Hardcore ever becomes big again, maybe there will be another Rezurection like what they did with the series in the early 2000s.

I would love to see if Sharkey really owns the name Bonkers. Then he could sue BBC and ITV for loads of money

You can't copyright a word, but you can trademark it for use in something, for example "Bonkers" as a CD album might be trademarked and the artwork and logo's are copyright. All totally possible.
In the end whoever owns the rights to bonkers, sharkey or former Resist staff they have right to protect themselves.
I'm no lawyer but if you created Zonkers as a parody on Bonkers and it looked obviously like a parody and not a copy or rip off then you would be legal under UK law.

I know there are new releases, but as far as actual physical CD copy releases that they don't rape you for money. I need a new series with cheese.
