Anyone else heard the news that DJ Brisk is moving down under. There must be a good Hardcore scene over there for him to be able to live there.
Lucky bastard, I'd move there in a heartbeat with how nice the beaches look on Home & Away.

I talked to brisk about this on facebook a month ago since all the signs were there even then. Good on him I would love to spend a few years in Australia it's one of my dream destinations. Good thing though is he's still working on his album and it won't be delayed any more than what it usually will be.

I thought this already happened? Wasn't this on the talk almost 1 and a half years?

Well, how big is the scene there? When it comes to labels i only know Executive Records and Australia with Force (the second one is inactive since 2010).

Yeah I don't think it's as big as the UK but they seem to still have a fairly healthy scene. Probably more labels running than North America for UK Hardcore.
Mutley (Ravin Records)
JTS (JTS Recordings)
S3RL (EMFA music)
Haze (Recycled Records) also.
Also seem to have a few Dutch Gabber events, I noticed Masters Of Hardcore were touring there and I watched a Defqon video on youtube from somewhere in Australia.

Don't forget that Recycled was started by DJ Impact originally (is he aussie?)
hellfury: not inactive, but rather defuncted/closed.

Well he definitely won't be out of worked as he's been playing a lot since he first arrived there. Besides his usual UK hardcore he also plays gabber, and he has his Stimulant DJ's alias in which he plays hard dance. He's definitely way more versatile than many djs in the UK so Brisk will have a healthy career in Australia. He's also been looking into hitting the Asian scene as well. And I'm sure if promoters are willing he is still available to play in the UK as well, maybe even in the US.

No Recycled Records has been overtaken by Haze and is still running, they had releases at the end of 2012 at trackitdown. Pretty sure Impact lives in Australia these days too.
