I should really ask you to leave these forums and never come back, BUT, I guess you could put it down to a matter of taste.
I will concede, however, that ostensibly it doesn't feel like there is much going on. It is a track that just has a very gradual build in momentum and atmosphere. It's utterly relentless. The vocal sample is used to perfection. I think it's genius, and Scott Brown at his subtle best. Sublime.

I'm with Jay on this one. I'm sure this tune was a b side to another Scott Brown tune that I had on vinyl but can't remember. I loved it at the time but completely forgot about it until now. What an epic tune with an amazing vocal, wouldn't think that it's almost 10 years old. Scott Brown really was the man back in that time. Might have to dust the technics off and have a blast of this soon

You definitely should man! Fcuking love rediscovering tunes.
And yeah, he truly is the master. I just looked it up on Discogs and the A Side was Rock Da Beat or Rock Tha Beat depending on what source you look at. Not a tune I was especially familiar with. It's fcuking magnificent though. Lush breakdown.

Rock the beat was also a slammer, think it was the first tune on his bonkers 13 mix. Yet another rediscovered gem. Might go through my vinyl collection tonight and start a new thread on rediscovered/forgotten classics :-)

Do it!
Edit: Just going through Bonkers 13, and have to give a mention to Pro-To-Plasm. I bought it a few weeks ago when he released the latest wave of back catalogue digitals. The majority of the tune is a little too twisty and trippy for me, basically, but there's something fantastically comforting about the breakdown. I wish it was a little longer (wahay!!) but it still does the job (wahay!!).

Will do if i can be arsed when i get home, been suffering from an extreme case of the man flu the last couple of days lol
I never really liked Pro-to-plasm when it was out but i'll give it another listen, its sometimes amazing how tunes that never done it for you when they were new can be so good when you listen again a few years down the line.
Gammer - Bust was also very similar to Pro-to-plasm, sure the riffs were near enough identical
