That's a really nice tune! I recognise the melody as well (you're probably going to tell me it's a stupidly well known tune, now). What BPM is it?

That Matt Darey remix is absolutely gorgeous. That recognisable melody is used quite sparingly, and it works so well. The other elements of the tune are really strong.
Ahh 'Nu Foundation - Wizzy' that's where I know it from. Not feeling the Darwin remix especially.

There is also a Al Storm version which he made around '98 and Scott Brown used the melody in a track around 2000/01. The melody is actually taken from Sonic the Hedgehog 2:
