Gaz, I was going back through some old event listings on here the other day and I think you were at my first ever rave as well, actually. A night at The Corn Exchange in Cambridge back in 2004! :-)

Ah what was that Jay, an old Uproar or something? That's the place with a few different levels in the main room and a tiny sweat box out the back yeah? Luna-C played their ya? Was a good party that if it's the one I'm thinking of haha.
Made it out to a fair few events back then, me and my mates where right little troopers lol Out at at least 1 event a week if not more.

Yup haha. That name harks back to little events we used to run in local village halls and shit when we where young. Made like 800 profit at a few of those between me and my mate, pretty much half the school would turn up. Big money to 15 year olds. :P Ahhh, memories of my innocent youth.

That might have been at The Emporium in Coalville thinking about it. What event was it? I remember the name and the front of the building too looking at pictures but can't think.

Ahh God mate, I really can't remember! One of the very few things I do remember is that it finished at 4am. I'll ask my mate who took me, see if he remembers what event it was.
One funny thing I do remember, though, was the journey home. We just got the first train from Cambridge to London (which was something like 4.30am, so minimal waiting around). My mate who took me was five years older and a seasoned raver. He dropped a couple of beans just as we were leaving the rave (lol). Anyways, the train stopped at Stanstead airport and we decided to get off and have a wander around (I think it was gonna sit there for a while or something). So we were wandering around, trying to look for somewhere that sold booze. Then my mate started getting a touch of pill-confusion. "What's going on...." "Nah, wait....." "Nah, sorry Jay - we can't go mate, I've forgotten my passport".
LOL. Silly boy temporarily thought we were at Stanstead to catch a plane somewhere.

Haha, excellent stuff. :D Been a long time since I've got that ****ed off gurners/mandy. I remember one session that left me lighting imaginary fags all morning and putting an imaginary phone to my ear. Was not in a good way. Think the best was my mate though... We where all sat up the park after a rave in the morning and he reached over for a light switch and said "right that's it guys, everyone is gonna have to **** off now, I'm going to sleep". :P
I think the rave in question must have been HTID vs Raver Baby in 2005 BTW. ;) Would have been with my mate in a wheel chair if you saw anyone on wheels that night. Man, wish all my old photos didn't get accidentally binned. :'(

Ha ha ha!! Ahhh scatty pill behaviour, brilliant!
I remember being at a mate's once years ago. Just three of us. Taken some blood-curdlingly strong beans. You know those ones that really hit you in the stomach. A deep, resonating buzz. Well anyways, we had a few more left, but my mate managed to misplace them somewhere so we spent a long time frantically looking in his room. Rolling around on the floor and just generally behaving very oddly. One of my mates stops, looks up and is like "Is there a website?!". "Errh, you what mate? What kind of website?". "A website to help us find the pills.....".
Oh dear lol.
And yeah, it may well have been mate. I'll ask my mate and see what he says.

That's one of the pluses of London. Early trains into and out of.
