I listened to it too, really enjoyed it, I've not been listening to much recent stuff but I thought there was a fair few decent tunes id probably buy.

+1 for slowcore
It's the syncopation (de-emphasised snare 2nd and 4th) that's making those tunes sound half-time. Really not a fan of that sound at all.
