Does anyone else have fond memories of the Amiga demo scene? Or are you into oldschool hardcore? Check out these two vids.
Spaceballs - Start Of the Art:
This is pretty awesome. Flick your mind back to 1992. Your Windows PC was probably running Windows 3.0 - if you were lucky. It was probably showing about 4 colours at once and could only make beeps for sound. On the other hand, they managed to pack all this music and graphics onto one floppy disk. That's 880Kb of storage.
LSD: Jesus on E's:
OMG! Awesome music. HOOOVERS!!! The graphics in this one aren't quite as breathtaking, but they're pretty trippy none the less. But you've got around 30mins of hardcore esque music fitting all on 2 floppy disks.

Ahh yes. The early days
I didn't get into music properly until '95/6 but I remember watching programs like BPM, Dance Energy and TOTP back then. Some trippy videos that's for sure. I did try producing on the Amiga back in '96 but I didn't manage to make anything other than a kick drum.

This one is even incredible. The sequel of "State Of The Art", made even better with better music.

Hardsequenzer! I heard his name somewhere on some random music modules (the music format that got me into music composition & production) I got! His tunes are so amazing!
