Here's an unfinished vocal track that I have been working on. I would really like to know what people think.

Anybody? I can't improve the track if people don't give feedback. Do people not like the electro style stuff or something? It's still very melodic and I personally find the vocals quite catchy.

Sorry old chap, missed this one first time around.
Right then, generally speaking, I don't think that the music and the vocal go especially well. It's a nice vocal, and a decent tune, but I don't think they do go together amazingly.
There's lots of periods in the track where the beat, the vocal and the melody are all sort of on top of each other, and it feels a bit cramped. The vocal is quite soft, and the melody is quite strong, and the kick is quite big. I think the vocal needs a little more consideration. Although it's not hugely powerful, it's actually quite emotive and nice. It's got simple, catchy lyrics as well. So, having huge mechanical sounds, and big kicks and prominent melodies on top of it - it feels like it's drowning a little.
What you've done between 1m10s and 1m50s is a good example of what I'm talking about. That sounds really rather good.
Aside from that, there's some nice elements. It's purely a matter of personal taste, but I don't really go for tracks that sounds trudging and mechanical (the electro-style that you referred to, basically). I think the tracks lacks a bit of momentum basically. Again, I can't stress enough that that is down to my personal taste - it's your track and you should employ what style you like.
Overall, that sounds like a really negative review, but it's not. I'm just focusing on the things that I feel could be improved or considered, since you asked for it specifically. :-)

No I think it's good that you gave good, honest feedback. I was trying something new and testing out my synth programming skills at the same time(I made every single sound except the strings and drums). The music was never changed to accommodate the vocals so that is why there are parts with too much going on. Perhaps I'll stick to my old style then but I'll see what others have to say first. Anyway thanks for the feedback.
