Audio Warfare - Music Box (Synthwulf Remix)
Cruze & K-Plus - Dawnbreaker
Audio Warfare Ft. Kathy Sims - Burning Desire
Well tbh, they're not all bad, but they are, like I would put it _Jay_ terms, not eargasmic for me :P

No probs - glad you like Dawnbreaker anyway :) everyone has different tastes, I understand that.
Pre-Orders are doing really well so far, can't thank everyone enough for supporting this. Means I can think about a FFV.3 next year.

Some on CD1 will do, but it will be some time after release. NONE of the tracks on CD2 will be released as singles or re-released in any way or format. I really want to push a physical product with the "Full Frequency" brand.

Ok this is the first listen to the thing which arrived today so here goes!
1) Holding on Jekyll Remix is just as good as the original and i'm not sure if i prefer the remix or not but it's a change to have a remix that stands up well to the original. It is the vocal that makes this track.
2) Energy isn't a bad track but isn't quite energetic enough for me
3) Bass kick i'm not sure about to be honest and i think i need to have a few listens of this one at volume to maybe get the full effect from it. Really like the dirty bass line.
4) Music box a bit maybe freeformy but not as dark and twisted as a lot of the new stuff which is good but i'm not sure how much i like this one.
5) Hardcore Manic had me thinking oh god in a bad way until the breakdown was suprisingly nice. Unfortunately the Mcing started and i was back to oh god. it's not powerstomp but it fits the same pattern for me of building up nicely and then just flat-lining.
6) Dubbed to death is just what the name suggests
7) Run has a nice vocal but there isn't enough euphoric synth for me to make the whole track work. It feels like there are bits missing.
8) Dawnbreaker is a good instrumental track that i'm glad doesn't have a vocal and gets the thumbs up from me.
9) Trauma is a bit slow for me
10) Let's rock is far too soft
11) Music is my life opens pretty solidly and the vocal is quite quirky but the breakdown is really not what i expected in a really good way. It also does something pretty awesome, it builds nicely and when the track powers back in, it's bloody good! The vocal and melody are lush and makes this one the highlight so far.
12) Lucid isn't a bad track, it's not quite my thing and is probably let down by following the track before.
13) Night Train from Dan Edge finishes the cd and i have some of his tunes already and consider him to be quite steady. This one is ok with a good breakdown that is let down by an overly fiddly synth when the tune kicks back in. I would have preferred it to be simpler.
There is nothing i really dislike on Disk 1 so it's a solid start but there's not much mind blowing stuff for me but i reckon disk 2 looks encouraging.
1) Come along by Ranzor is great! It's not as mad as i would expect from him but by hell is it energetic and euphoric! Best tune so far by a mile and i gotta say the guys work is impressive. Can't wait to play this loud!!
2) Tonight's the night had a hard track to follow but i like it's partial retro styling
3) Cum fiesta made me think oh dear before i listened to it and when i did listen to it, my opinion didn't change.
4) Retrocore is what the name suggests but not the sort i like
5) It's like paradise is fantastic! love the vocal and everything.
6) Crystal clear just keeps up the quality with a great piano tune
7) Cry little sister 2013 doesn't keep up the quality because male vocals for me have to be awesome and these are not.
8) Electric shock reminds me of another of Hoodzie's tunes get on it which is one of my favorite tunes this year so by definition is great!
9) Aspiration is a nice freeformer like on the previous cd that i find easier to take than the mainstream stuff.
10) Burning desire is ok i just wish it was stronger
11) Above the clouds is a bit of a plain jane for me but i do think the bassline is a bit different.
12) Wooo Hoooo is just too weak
13) Melted ocean doesnt quite live up to my hopes
14) Hold me now is just as forgettable sadly
I've found in the last couple of years as more mainstream compilation albums have faded and the bigger name djs/producers have either retired (Seduction, Kev energy), started making a lot less music (Scott Brown) or have just started to make a load of gash (everyone at futureworld). Brisk doesn't sell his music anymore either so i've really turned to the smaller guys and the smaller albums and in all honesty i think they are a safer bet than the big guns and tends not to be influenced by all the outside negative crap that goes on (Futureworld). CD 2 is hugely superior to CD 1 and packs some real quality without too much dragging it down and so i give this 7/10
Come along by Ranzor is by far the best track.
