The remix I attempted doesn't sound "right", I can get the sounds right, it just lacks what i like when it comes to the melodic/flow of things.
No offense to Dys7
there just isn't enough energy in the track for me to do a breakbeat hardcore track that's my style. I'm also not the biggest fan of the scale/chord progression it's written in.

Just for future reference, if you don't want to offend the person, simply say it's not your style instead of saying you think it has no energy, you dislike the melody, and the chord progression is bad. :P

Strangely, I think it's got a ton of melody and energy. Having some good fun remixing this track. I never used to use sharp notes ever, now I do :P

Disagree completely. The track is tailor made with energy. Its a proper happy track! The issue is, youre trying to make it breakbeat, and you wont find that easy. How mant tracks like this have you heard remixed as breakbeat?

well said buddy, its an amazing track and the options available to the remixer(s) are untrue, IF you create your style and adapt and use imagination to make it your own

I didn't express myself very well, and what I wrote was totally not what I meant, sorry, it's a great track and I'll do my best with remixing it even if it's not a style I'm accustomed to

Yeah keep at it dude, still plenty of time.
Suppose that's one of the perks of remix comps, trying to create a track that might be out of your comfort zone & learn from it :)
