I have been to a some of these megaevent and I must say that I have not seen alot of trouble there (I have seen more in regular boring nightclubs). There is a festival in Germany called Nature One that is not only hard dance but really great. Last time I went there was around 65 000 people there and you could hear almost any type of electronic dance musikc played. It's the best party I have ever been to. The big endshows with fireworks and a voice sounding like a movie trailer is not my cup of tea so even if q-dance really knows how to organize stuff I prefer Germany. I have only been to one UK hardcore party in England and it was a small one in Manchester. I need to come over to hardcore underground or something soon =)
I've never heard of any issues at these type of events either, with the exception of Tomorrowland and Tomorrowworld. The last 2 Tomorrowlands (the one in Belgium) had a lot of people complain on social media about fights breaking out as well as a lot of theft. People were stealing stuff from people's tents when they weren't there.
And of course there was last year's disastrous Tomorrowworld (in the US) weather and transport situation that probably pretty much killed the entire event from ever coming back. The 2016 edition was announced as officially canceled earlier this year, and I just read that the company that organized the event is $300USD million in debt.
