what's it like when you go to a rave i've always wanted to go but they always seem to be too far away from me and the area i live in doesn't have much of a hardcore scene and i've never really had that much money to be able to afford the travel costs etc
i've had house parties that my mate willy (dopeman) and a few other guys have mixed hardcore but never had the chance to actually go to even a small rave so what am i missing out on?

more people, overpriced water, venues without working toilets/sinks, headliners not showing up/not knowing they were booked, not enough ventilation so everyone is sweating profusely
so basically amazing  great place to talk to/meet new people (assuming you're not next to the sound system and can understand what they are saying)

Most events that are around now can't really be classed as raves, but 'Hardcore night in a club' isn't a very catchy title!

you had the chance to come to nosebleed in rosyth with me last year but you didn't want to go i don't think you could handle it i barely survived nosebleed so i doubt you would last an hour at a small rave you couldn't last a night making tunes with me lmao

If you have the opportunity to go to one mate, definitely do it. One of my favourite things in life. Possibly the favourite thing in my life.

They're not really clubs, though, are they. There's no tables or chairs or anything. And the people are there to dance for nine hours. They're just club-sized empty spaces with loud sound systems. I like them. :-)

And the very next day you brag about trippin' with a bunch of horny sluts who sucked everyone's dicks, while in fact you were all puking on each other, and there was only ONE horny slut and it was YOU. Does that sound like a rave? Not from personal experience, just my innocent imagination.

That's what any rave turns into once Jay walks through those doors. And no need to wonder who that one horny slut is.
I don't believe that raves no longer exist, I just think that they've been upscaled a bit. No longer do you HAVE to have them in some shady abandoned warehouse, there's enoough respect in the electronic music scene that there are facilities already equipped to handle such an event. Just because you happen to have it in a club doesn't mean that it's not a rave.
I can't speak for what it's like in the UK seeing as I've not been to one, and HTID ITS is a totally different experience from a UK rave from what I was told.

Yeah, that's fair comment. I just take a rave to be any lengthy event where people go for a specific kind of music. I don't really know what other word to use. I guess you could say "I'm going to a Hardcore night" or something.
