Hi guys, I've just upped the recording of mine and MC Frikshon's set from Treat Ya' Self in Nottingham at the weekend to Soundcloud... feel free to help yourselves to a download! It was a great little event and the crowd were really up for it, so it was good to throw in some new stuff alongside a few old favourites and see everything go down well

I'm no supporter for MCs at all,although I don't really think that MC Frikshon did a bad job or even sucked, but to be honest I tried to ignore his shouts and simply stay focused to the music in background. And this mix is very pleasureable. Well done and I feel slightly jealous about the people who joined this set.
And one track has really deeply found its way to my heart: "Mr Ripley - (Lucy Goose's) Lovin". This is such a wonderful choon! Very emotional!

Cheers Christian - I know just what you mean about MC's on recorded sets, they can make it or break it! Frikshon is a real top drawer MC though, his interaction with the crowd is second to none and I think it helps to capture the atmosphere of the night to have him on the recording
Hehe yeah I was a little bit unsure about Lucy's Lovin' when I first finished it - didn't know if it would be a track that I would really play a lot - but it's had a good reaction from people and that vocal really does have soul ("take me danciiiing, to brighter dayyyys!") so it's deffos proved itself to me now
