Because he was a talentless cunt who really did very little to further the scene and has absolutely no relevance now.
Edit: That may seem a little hateful but there must have been hundreds of way more talented and deserving people who would've loved to get the breaks Anabolic Frolic got (and subsequently squandered). That makes me dislike him.

he's been out of the scene for a long time now no one really cares if he is getting bashed or not. The Toronto scene has moved on without him, and rightfully so.
You can be ignorant about the whole situation, but I for one am very curious as to what really went on with him and Hullabaloo, and if he genuinely did screw over djs and whatnot.

We both know Hullabaloo lasted for a good while, with many returning DJs. I don't know why DJs would continue to play for his events if he did screw them over. I did read once that Frolic did not want Scott Brown to play any Gabba in one of his sets, and I also read that Frolic did not want Silver1 playing "Addictions" on some Hulla radio program.

He didn't screw over any djs to my knowledge, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. There are much worse promoters out there though.
Hullabaloo & the American Cheese kids made the North American scene what it is today - I doubt we would have had goodfellaz, daydream or NC in toronto without them. I'm sure Frolic doesn't read message boards, but he's actually a very nice person so to see people take the piss on him 'just because he's gone' is unfortunate. Hullabaloos were some of the best memories of my raving years, and I wouldn't have found hardcore without the happy2bhardcore series.

FWIW, I would call him talentless to his face as well, it has nothing to do with him being here or not being here to me. It's entirely possible that he's a lovely person - I wouldn't know about that - but music really wasn't his forte.

Happy 2B Hardcore was my first happy hardcore CD in the U.S. I see why people think his DJ skills suck, but he put great tunes on those joints.

I think he's found his true calling as a hypnotist. However it's wrong to dis someone when they tried their hardest.
It works both ways....
