Weirdest hardcore/happy hardcore tunes 100% come from Germany
Only if you listened to the Smurfcore that killed rave over here.
Killed rave? Elaborate?
I don't know exactly what was going on in the scene back than, because I was too young, but I had noticed a few things. Since 1994 more and more tracks (just like this Smurfcore crap) had been released that only tried to make fun about Techno, electronic music and ravers: rave culture at all. Of course it was huge back these days, but I've never noticed before that simply prejudicing special people or toxicating the general opinion about something is powerable enough to ruin everything. The masses turned their backs to Rave back than and simply started to follow the next wave that was pushed by the media (in this case Hip-Hop). I left Germany 1995 and lived 2 years in the U. S. When I returned to Germany I was completely shocked how things had changed within this short time.
What I have heard from others about the rave scene that they had moved forward to Schranz in the middle of the 90's. A lot of popular clubs were closed down by local authorities and a lot more had happened. People treated ravers like garbish back these days and everyone who liked it was faced getting treated like a leper.
