Hi guys, maybe not exactly HHC but this is what got me into all things hard dance a long time ago.
1st mix from my "new" series / concept mixes. Since it's been over 20 years since I started clubbing, I thought it's be a nice idea to do one mix each year that features the sound of "20 years ago", so songs from 1993 (and before) for 2013, 1994 for 2014 and so on, just using memorable tracks I really liked back then and/or think they were influential.
To me, this mix sounds like one evening at club UNIT in Hamburg in 1993 compressed into 80 minutes (with better mixing ;)

Some of the best traxx ever right here inside. Would've liked the tempo to be closer to the originals, but heeeeeeey regardless, thanks for thinking of your happy friends over here.

glad you like some of it.
agreed, the BPM are on the +8 side of things, but that's what I grew up with in Hamburg on the Gary D. nights at UNIT :D
So to me, most of the tracks sound normal the way they are in the mix and I was shocked when first playing them at +/-0
