I am going back absolutley years, but i was sat in my mates brothers room and we listened to some of his tapes and it was "im raving im raving". It was the one the bloke sang b4 it got banned cos of copyright! thats old, Its not to bad on absolute hardcore 3 with the woman singing it but the original was better, then i didnt hear much after that until my best tape of all time: helter skelter nye 96-97 vibes tape. I havent looked back since.

Starchild by Starchild, can it get any better?
If Scooter - Back in the UK counts that 'll be my first though.
But as someone else said I didn't get into hh until I heard Tiny Tot - Discoland.

FYI that song isn't by Anabolic Frolic, it's by Bang! One of the members of that group is actually on this messageboard and would probably have a riot with that.

^^ you'd think if people are gonna traffic mp3's and stuff the least they can do is label the tracks correctly so that everyone knows whose music they're stealing =P

i realize shooting star isn't made by anabolic frolic but the remix by anabolic frolic was the first one i heard. then i d/led the bang! version as well as the DDR version and the flip n fill version. and i know all the songs that i posted on the top 10 aren't made by anabolic frolic...but i like their remixes the most...

... *ahem* ... sorry 'bout that. Please, continue - I believe you were saying something about liking Anabolic Frolic's work as a remixer?

I'm not going to count any old-skool stuff ( like Far Out etc ), the first tune I heard that I'd call "happy hardcore", and which is responsible for leading me down this road, would be "Like a Dream" - Dry & Roasted.
