yeah i have it but haven't really done a full listen through yet. It's better than i imagined though.
Edited to add: I played some powerstomp for my six month old earlier and she was giggling and kicking her legs like a loony. It seems she approves!!

Got this yesterday and had a brief listen, sounding amazing from what I've heard. Will give it a proper listen tomorrow. Their sound reminds me a bit of Sy & unknowns sound and is exactly what the scene needs. 2 stand out tunes for me are Powerstep and Kurt's kick it remix although they've been around for about a year now.

Rather good.
I usually only go for freeform but unmixed cds always grab me.
Have to admit until getting this I hadnt bothered with the whole powerstomp thing. I only listened to a few clips on soundcloud.
Quite simply its good hardcore. Reminds me of an early Joey Riot and Kurt sort of sound.
CDjay on a good hardcore note a Thin n Crisp album would be great can you work some magic?! ;) A remix cd would be interesting!

Interesting idea...... not sure how practical or implementable it would be but I'll have some thinkies.

the full album is sick as ****... proper bouncy as good stomp album.... stomping is back in hardcore.....
some say itsa fad... but so was hardcore and ravemusic at one time.... powerstomp Is here to stay
kurt has about 5 tunes all with the same melody riff beepy thing going off that's the only let down other than that siiiiiiiick

Listened to the cd full blast while driving home from Newcastle today. Hooked on powerstomp now. One of them mixes you can easily listen to all the way through without wanting to skip any tracks. That baseline is absolutely booming, they've perfected the sound. Top drawer stuff boys, amazing. If you haven't got it, get it

Yep, definitely needs to be heard loud.
Although it does follow a fairly set formula, a few tunes in the right place can make a set take off. Glad i bought the album, even if my car speakers aren't!

I got this expecting to hate it. And while i don't think it's terrible, i really don't think it's very good.
There's 8 tracks on there that are absolute slammers, there are a few decent track but most are cringeworthy to me.
I'm just really not on board with the whole powerstomp thing. I think there's a few really good tracks and then there seems to be an abundance of tracks that are just rushed out purely because powerstomp is the in thing.
Give me a Joey and Kurt classics set anyday.
