Instead of starting a new topic, I'll just revive last year's. This year's Black Friday has come and gone and so far there aren't as many crazy incidents as last year. Here's one video I found that contains some Black Friday footage from the US and the UK.

Still isn't really catching on up here - my wife popped into ASDA (walmart) this afternoon to get some grocerys and they were annoucing over the intercom that there were still plenty of Playstation's and Xbox bundles left..
*edit*
Just realised it might be because the north is poor?! :D

That and you live in the middle of nowhere. Usually the majority of the chaos happens in more urban/denser populated areas.

I was never going to buy anything during this black Friday nonsense. Not unless there were some lovely discounts on car parts.
All this ******** is just drug addicts buying something cheap on one special Friday, and selling it to fund their next bout of fixes. A splendid idea, but becoming an expert Pokemon card broker is a far more sustainable solution... has anyone got a Dark Rocket Charizard holo?
edit:
I'm deadly serious, my Blastoise is lonely...

Err, Australia doesn't do thanksgiving and it follows that we don't do black friday either. I'm not sure what sales you were looking at, but I wouldn't be using them as an indication for a sales day in UK that we don't do here.
