I couldn't tell you who, and I couldn't even tell you if I'm right - but I may have read someone on hear had one, once? Or not? Maybe I'm just getting confused with all the comments on that video (I uploaded it, and I've only vaguely paid attention to the comments over the years).
Least helpful response ever. lol. Sorry mate.

Things like this rarely rest on my whims. They fall at the feet of concerned parties, who will be easier to convince with demonstrable results. Back us, and I will back what i want. We have shared interests, you and I...

Not really, I'll elaborate.
By and large, our modus operandi is to put out stuff that *we* would want. To put together line-ups that would make *us* get out of house and trapse across the country.
My feelings about F&S are borderline fetishist, matched only by CKay I reckon , and nothing would please me more than to actually do a project rescuing all those great tracks from non-availability/truncated digital version/vinyl. However, to do so I would need to license the tracks from the rights holder(s), and then convince all artists involved that it was a worthwhile endeavour from all angles.
The best way to make *that* happen is for us to be able to offer up clear evidence that we can deliver on any proffered earnings whilst doing justice to the material and legacy of this seminal act. So, as I said... back us and we'll be in a position to deliver what you/I/we want.

So how we go about providing that evidence? I would be up for doing anything & everything I could to get the F&S Back Cat on CD/Digital.

so, you really want to make an clubland album? :P
To be honest, I would rather see someone, not just you, try to make an album with unreleased tracks that Artists doesn't seem to be bothered with anyways. Problem is I believe alot of unreleased material from the 90's has been unlicensed materials :P

"So how we go about providing that evidence? I would be up for doing anything & everything I could to get the F&S Back Cat on CD/Digital."
By supporting our existing projects by buying them and shouting about them. The more traction we have, and the more support we have, the more credible we are as a platform for others.
I'll keep manoeuvring behind the scenes to use whatever tools we have at our disposal to do good stuff

You know a F&S album would not be a bad idea at all to produce. It could be something like the Evolution 100 in album form, except I don't expect this one to come out as awful as EVO100. Most of those remixes were cringeworthy.
So like maybe a 3-disc album similar to Marc Smith's album: one cd would be unmixed remixes of any F&S tracks, and only good remixes, the 2nd one would be unmixed classics worthy of a digital release, and the 3rd album could be a dj mix, maybe putting the new and old tracks into one good dj mix.

Did EVO100 come with the originals like the Evolved remixes did? IF not, that would've been a better idea
