I noticed the bass muddies-up unrecognisibly once the intro is over. Low cut some of the other instruments. Something in there is eating up loads of headroom.
Btw, what are you monitoring on?

I low cut everything but the bass and kick (during drops) at 200hz, brick wall, so I'm not sure what would be muddying up - though I did intentionally give the bass a back seat in the mixdown.

Was the bass boost using shelving eq or bell? or did you boost it for the Master?
