Go for it Stevo!
I haven't got the time to do the member awards this year so something else would be good.

Are we talking musically, yeah? Like, an Hardcore Heaven Awards equivalent?
yeah, & with some other random bits and pieces thrown in for good measure :)

How about if we do an awards, we do it as a combination of an HH awards-like part AND our original HHC.com awards honoring the members and website itself? I have a few ideas to make it both parts friendlier, and probably way more interesting than the HH awards.

Sounds good, obviously the amount of categories would need trimmed down compared to HH awards.
...we could also dress Jay up like a cheerleader & send him round each winners house to present their prize

How many categories were there in the HH awards? Wasn't it like 25? Was just thinking if we combine some of our own categories in aswell it might get a bit busy!

There's almost 25. Personally I would cut out the breakthrough award categories altogether, because it would be difficult to give a career timeline as to what is considered "breakthrough" also best website is kind of pointless, as we'd pretty much be giving ourselves that award lol. Oh and best store is a bit pointless as well.

Are all the options obligatory? If not, you shouldn't add stars to the votes as I can't vote on some of the options (like Best DJ as I never really listen to other sets). Isn't there a way to make some of the questions not obligatory? Surveymonkey can't be that poorly done that it can't have some questions left unanswered?
Anyways, I have voted now aswell

Olly (Thumpa) isn't doing the awards, I am. I've made the questions mandatory just in case someone accidently skips a question, but it's not required by Survey Monkey. I do encourage the use of N/A if you don't have an opinion on a category, and there will be an N/A option in stage 2 as well. If you guys are doing your own awards, just a heads up Survey Monkey has a maximum 10 question limit unless you pay, and they require annual payment so it's a few hundred, hence I left it at 10 questions (only found this out AFTER I got to question 10 and tried to put in 11). I did want to split breakthrough artist into DJ and producer but due to question limit I had to cut it into 1. And the votes are for 2013 only with the exception of the lifetime achievement award.

Oh, and I'm filtering the results from the joke/smartass/irrelevant ones so your Kutski, F&D etc. nominations don't count lol.

Yea I'm definitely not wanting to use survey monkey. Since this is not a major awards and afaik there are o actual awards or prizes to be handed out, I would just take votes by private message on here by people who are members. So in order to vote, you would have to join happyhardcore.com
So looks like I'll take charge of these awards, and I will have Dean and Ken Masters as consultants. So be prepared to begin picking out nominations before the end of the week.
