Whenever i go into a cd shop like HMV or that's entertainment. Or search to see recent compilation releases.
Do they actually bring out any compilations with classic hardcore on them anymore?
If you can remember around 2005-2008, there was no end to lots of compilations of hardcore coming out and even getting tv commercial slots.... Some were really cheap and nasty but then some great.
Apart from the clubland hardcore cds, is there any other "chart" or popular enough hardcore compilations now?

When I was in Leeds and walking around in the city centre waiting for the hours to pass by I went into a music store and checked out their selection of Elektronic Music. The only Hardcore albums I found were Mark Smith's "Nutorious By Nature" and one of Darren Styles.

The Clubland Hardcore series is pretty much the only series that gets any mainstream/commercial(TV) exposure. As far as popular...well, that's suggestive. I for one favor the Hardcore Underground series, but you won't see it advertised TV stations. There are tons of Dutch Happy Hardcore albums on Amazon which are newly released, but feature the same ol' Dutch/German tracks.

There were like a million of those compilations made in the last decade, why would you want more of them? Personally I'm for pushing new product that contains new material, like the HU albums. Most UK hardcore albums are not sold in stores, so you'll have to take to the internet to make your purchases now.
Seeing as how we are nearing the middle of this decade, will we start seeing some albums, digital or CD, that will be playing 2000s classics?

Most of the artist albums we put, and are putting, out have "classic" hard ore on. CLSM one was in hmv but they classified it as urban so i doubt you would have found it even if you were looking, heh.

Why not just find some actual classic albums. Tend to be better than the rushed out 100 Classic Hardcore Bangers albums. I don't find the new classic albums ever have anything I don't have already as they just reach for the obvious.

If you go on youtube, you'll find hundreds of uploads of them tracks ripped from vinyls.
What would be awesome if alot of them were put on compilations,
I suppose they've never gotten released due to whoever has the rights etc or if a label went bust etc.

You know I think it would be great if some of these closed labels such as Raver Baby, Jelly Baby, and a few others released a classics album. 2 cds of dj-friendly tracks and then a mix of the best of the label. Would be incredibly sweet.

Yeah, it's nice coming across them but it's becoming less common.
I even liked getting old ps1 or sega megadrive games, but i haven't seen a single megadrive game for 1 or 2 years now.

THIS would be totally awesome, but to my experience something like it will never happen.
