Just ripping all my Bonkers CDs and others into iTunes so I can put them away in the loft as they take up too much room :(
Just did Bonkers 10, The message at the start of the disc, well said and then ruined with a cover of Bullet In the Gun? I could have been a hardcore anthem of some sort, not some cover of an average trace track!

I actually wish Hixxy where allowed to release that remix of Bullet in the Gun. I still like it :/
He supposedly did 2 version of it (albeight one version is a speeded up/down version of the other).

it seems kinda weird that the scene went in the direction that the intro pretty much said hardcore would never go but i suppose it was always gonna happen with all the clubland crap and bonkers "dieing" etc it seems to be getting better though so maybe the dub/electrocore phase was a way of making sure the scene survived (let's face it the music may have been shit but it is profitable to appeal to the majority and milk as much coin outta them before the next fad comes along) i dunno i couldn't give a shit at this point lol

I remember getting bonkers 10. Seeing the tracklist before release, the bullet in the gun remix was one of the tunes I was looking forward to the most. Especially after hearing some of hixxy's remixes on bonkers 9. Was gutted when I finally heard it because it was so bland. Just as well the rest of the mix and album more than made up for it. Probably my favourite bonkers.

I actually don't think that his Bullet In The Gun remix is anything special either, and I found it to be an extremely awful track to start a mix with. At least the rest of the album was good.

That track just reminds me of NYE, Hixxy played the tune and just as it kicked in fucking Storm stopped the party to say make some noise or something, and it had to be started again from the beginning, including the 15 minute intro. The pillock. I wasn't even actually there and it wound me up.
I don't mind the tune itself though.
