Idk if it has any meaning any more tbh.

To me it means stuff like transition tracks which start and finish at different tempos, basic loops and maybe scratch samples and shit like that. It's always been nebulous but as a title for this album it really is taking the term to the limits.

With a name like that I was expecting like a sample pack, but then again that would've been called producer tools.

Probably because they're in WAV format??? So they're more DJ friendly, and also you can just stick this right into the CDJ, but I gather no one would want to risk getting it excessively scratched up and at a limited pressing, it's quite the collector's item.

So is this the only form these tracks will be released? Not sure if this is great for someone like me who isn't a DJ, but then again I'm all for completing my HU collection :)

We spent the "EP" on the free-event-tie-in-cds so we're left with little option.

It's unmixed tracks, great for the likes of me who want full tracks, but primarily they *ARE* tools for DJs. Well, ones with taste and vision.

It's not off to press just yet, alternates are welcomed.

You could always do "HU Most Wanted" instead?!?!

Great tracklist! As long as I get a copy, I couldn't give a rat's cock what it's called.

It's that "Don't Be Lonely" remix and "All Night" that I'm very keen to get me hands on!

HU LTD or something like that? or H.U.S.E?

I did assume it would be tempo changing tracks, acapellas, samples etc etc as well!

Such a strong release, no fillers in sight what so ever!!

Can't wait to grab this.

How about.... 'HU The Singles Vol 1'?

or...

'HU Showcase Vol 1'?

although I'm not sure that any of them improve the original.

Or HU LP (limited pressing), since you did say there will actually be a limited amount of pressings to this. No one ever said LP was restricted to only vinyl releases.

Is it a data disc and not an audio disc?

I guess it can be one reason why it's called a DJ Tool. It's an Data-CD containing files

It's not a data CD no, we merely mentioned that the tracks would all be sourced from the full quality .wavs as this hasn't always been the case with some labels in the past.

Both 'The Singles' and 'HU LP' were actually thrown around as potential titles too, but in the end 'DJ Tools' just seemed to best describe the purpose of the CD. It's not perfect but it has a better ring to it than 'HU Presents: Some Full Length Tunes' :D

All about the content at the end of the day anyway, so hope you enjoy that :)
