So I was looking through some old stuff the other day and came across an old HTID DVD which came with one of my tape packs. The DVD was filmed at HTID NYE 05/06 from Hastings pier. I wasn't actually at this event but watched it back anyway.
The interview section had me in hysterics all the way through. Some bird interviewing loads of random ravers who were in attendance that night. Some of the interviewees wouldn't look out of place in trainspotting, melted beyond belief, jaws swinging from side to side. And one particular raver, douglas, goes on a massive rant about hardcore but is so wasted that he can't finish what he's saying. Sheer comedy gold. Also a special mention to another girl walking about in the background like a zombie, clearly has no idea what she's doing. If anyone has this DVD it's well worth a watch again for a good laugh.
Does anyone have any other examples? Or better yet, some clips on YouTube or similar.

Hmmm.. I hope I am not on it. I was on the floor "actioning" tunes and when returned to the hotel i sat in bath singing a song about how sober i was.

I checked YouTube and can't find anything. I'm not sure how to upload it YouTube other than filming the tv on my phone and uploading from that. Will do that at some point this weekend and post on here to let u know lol.

lol don't do that! would be shit quality haha. There should be some free dvd ripper programs out there online. All you gotta do is rip it to your computer into a media-friendly file like MP4 and then upload that to youtube.
but that's only if you have the time. No need to do it just for me, although I'm sure a few of us would love to see this mess haha

I watch some of the ones from the mid 90s, and I just cringe. Even though that's my favourite time for the music and the scene, just watching some of those lot is embarrassing (in a funny way though!). I never did drugs so I might see it in another light, but still....

I've seen a few of those on youtube and can relate, but at this point in my life the question comes up: Is it too much to ask for a drug free rave scene? I would love to live off of my music and djing but when the drug aspect of the scene comes up, I feel stumped.

if you wannado it properly, use a DVD ripping software first and then a encoder. like DVDDecrypter and then Handbrake.
But Im pretty sure Handbrake can ripp DVDs directly aswell and should be easy to use, just remember that it will take atleast 1-2 hours to ripp and encode at the same time, so that DVD will get warm :P

What do you need an encoder for?
A ripper just strips the movie from the DVD. It's still going to be a +4GB file. An Encoder is was makes the avi, mkv or mp4 files

I've got loads of old videos, United Dance, Slammin' Vinyl, Raindance, Helter Skelter, etc. and rather embarrassingly me and my mates are in a lot of them haha. Most of those are from around 200-2006 but I've got some 90's ones too. Oh and an old 90's Thunderdome one from Holland too with a very smashed MC in it! If I still had a VCR I might be able to record them somehow and upload...

Haha unfortunately not. I really don't think we look that alike besides the bald head but the amount of people that mistake me for him at raves is unreal. I've just rolled with a couple of photo requests for the lols.
