EV104 - Scott Brown feat MC Mallorca Lee - Resurgence (Do you love your Hardcore)
quote:
Since the early 90's, Q-Tex and Ultrasonic were bitter rivals in the Hardcore Rave scene in Scotland. Their front men Scott Brown & Mallorca Lee had a mutual dislike for each other, despite never actually meeting!
After 20 years of antagonism, both Scotland's top DJ's have buried the hatchet and come up with this absolute monster of a tune. With flavours of the 90's scattered throughout the track, this will be the first of many in this new era of Hardcore Dance Music.
***RELEASE DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED THIS WEEK***
Thoughts?
Might grow on me, never been right keen on MC's/this type of vocal in a track but we'll see.

I really like it. Love the slightly grimy/moody Freeformy vibe. I don't think the MCing element is bad at all, either. Think it works well.

Aye the MCing isn't nearly as bad as some that I've heard, I'd welcome an instrumental version as well though.
