i just don't understand why these "big names" can't use the same kicks that were used in so many amazing tunes back in the 90's
i know when a track is hard because my head will without any warning start going with the kick but listening to ukhc it doesn't and i sit and scratch my head wondering where the **** has the hardness gone
isn't the kick meant to be the main point of hardcore everything else just gets biult around it at least thats how it used to sound
to sum it up i can punch my hand and still manage to get a harder sound than any of this shit it's pitiful

I think many of us on here wonder that same thing. It's hard to find those kickdrum and crunchy sounds nowadays.

this is the direction i would love to see the UK scene go it has to if it wants to be respected no more of the airy fairy vocal shite thats been done to death
big name artists take note if any of you are reading this post your music is shit and you need to disappear until you realise that this is how hardcore is what hardcore truly is the rest of the hardcore scene must look at the uk and laugh their asses off

lol this is why I never get excited over a retired producer coming back after all these years because it almost never works the way you cunts like it to.
What surprises me is the fact that most of you expect for them to pick up right where they left off, which they never do.
BTW I actually love this track. Love the vocals, they're very reminiscent to pre-2000s UK hardcore vocals. I'm actually surprised more people don't like it.
Will be getting this eventually.

I'm not sure, it has an nice beat to it as a one-off track, but I don't think I could manage much else of it.

One of the top tracks off HU 2013! Sure, I miss the kickdrum, but I there are still some decent tunes out there and this is one of them!

I quite liked this. The vocal is nice and uplifting, and there aren't many tracks like this.
I'm a little bemused at some of the comments. Not hard enough? Hardcore has been this way for over a decade. Dopeman, you say you want hard kicks, then post a gabber track.. Why don't you just go and follow gabber music? There's plenty of it around.. You don't need to pop up on every Hardcore track and say its not hard enough, just because it doesn't cater for your tastes.
Listen to the style of music you enjoy, and let other people do what they want to do.
With regards to producers coming out of retirement, they'll not pick up after 15 years out. I dont see how they would. There's not a secret studio behind a bookcase that Bman strolls into, dusts off the the MS Dos PC and gets going on an ancient track.. if only lol
I think he's contributing to modern Hardcore well, and I'm keen to see how he and J4J progresses.

the simplest explanaition to what i mean is if your gonna make a hardcore track then don't use such a weak kick it's as simple as that the kick is the driving force behind every hardcore track (usually) when i listen to hardcore i don't want to feel as if i'm getting slapped in the face with a wet towel i want to feel as if someone has just landed a clean right hook off my jaw
don't know how else to explain it i don't want gabber style kicks on every track but ukhc needs harder kicks
the rest they can do what they want with
