Read that the EDC is now in London. Looking at the genre list, it looks quite diverse. Is Hardcore represented there at all? Could be something for organizers to look at getting involved in somehow.. God knows, Hardcore needs it

I'm considering going this year. It's just that it'd be a huge farce with navigating myself from the centre of the UK all the way down to the south.
I think since EDC London is pretty recent there isn't as big a budget compared to Vegas (or probably any of the other North American ones) and so I imagine they only focus on trying to book big names from the mainstream EDM scene so all the bass heads and members of the UK #TranceFamily show up. I assume they won't start expanding and appealing to those with more underground music tastes until the festival starts bringing in huge crowds.

Although to say that hardcore is kinda big in the UK you'd kinda expect a lick of it somewhere on the line up...
