Always loved the original, such an anthem, full of joy!!!
A track this good (the Original version) probably should be left as just that, but it's all good practice for me, so here's my remix...

Dood! You pulled it off magnifficently!
Did you have the accapella or did you just use the original and add the bits on top?
Even though I'm almost 100% sure you used the original I dare to ask since the layers are so clean!
Good Job! :)

Sorry for late response.. .. appreciate the feedback! thanks :)
My own parts are beats, bass, rave stabs, percussion.. Plus also the 'harder part' was manipulated, cut and shut etc with an added rave stab to make it stand out..
I just fancied pumping up the original! .. so I did. Spent a couple of days on it.
The breaks are a straight cut from original track, but I added an 'ahh choir' synth line to go with it to fill it out more (that also goes throughout singing parts and happy melody parts) plus a nice big deep bass in break as I'd filtered out the original bass.. I felt the bass I added was quite epic and I was happy how that went with track.
Ultimately, It's simply the 'friends' track, revamped a bit, given a modern Kick & Bass and twisted about.
I didn't have the acapella or any remix stems (I've since got hold of a midi though) so the break had to stay the same, which led me to keeping things pretty tight to original.
