Hey
I'm really not liking any of the new uk hardcore that has been released lately. It's all either just crap that sound like sped up electro or with really simple synths, or that crappy dubcore or whatever the hell they call it. With all the anoying dubstep sounds and very little if any musical elements to it.
So i was wondering if you guys new any new(ish) tunes, with an old school kind of sound. Like with hoovers, or a happy and energetic kind of vibe. Or even just some really musical tunes, with multiple synths layered over eachother.
Thanks
Peace

Hardcore Underground has a compilation CD out called "DJ Tools Vol.1" that's got tracks like JAKAZiD's "Make it Werk" and Skinny's "Pressure Rockin" that are pretty old school sounding with newer production. They might have some copies left. Brisk's album also on HU has some old school vibey tracks too.

Check out Eufeion on soundcloud. He's been making some pretty cool tracks and remixes lately with an old Skool vibe.
Also Gammer - Notek, is just amazing.

Yeah i am massive eufion fan, he is one of the best of the newer uk hard producers. First person to remix elysium and do it justice too!
Notek is awesome, but it's from re build music and they never do digital releases:(

I'm sure Notek was released digitally mate. Fairly certain I've got it.

Hello mate,
I made a bunch of tracks and an EP based on old skool sounds with a new school element. I have not participtaed in the hardcore scene since 2010 and have nothing to do with it at all since then. I listen now and its like a different music scene, to me its not hardcore, its lost its roots and lost its following, I could only recommend a more old skool approach might help get rid of the chav image it holds now.
Anyway here are some sounds you may like, I put them on FREE as I was making other music forms and stoped with hardcore, I dont think many people like the old skool vibe in tracks plus there probably shit lol.
Links below just incase you may find somthing of interest on the page:
There is a bunch more on my page. I am going to upload another bunch of tracks in the same style and then thats it, the page will expire as this is only some of my hardcore music and I have the monthly thing with soundcloud so will not renew it and tracks will fall away, so if anything you want on the page grab it now.

Spirit Wolf's Doofus Da Dingo alias is reliant on old school sounds. Worth a check!

The best way for that to happen is to support the elements that don't fall under that banner, not to chastise the entire modern scene.
For whatever dire straights the scene is supposedly in, there's actually MORE going on in the way of high quality music releases now than most past eras. There's a conscious effort to unify the remaining factions and encourage high quality output treated with respect by everyone involved. This should do a lot to foster a sustainable genre we can all be proud of again. Even stuff like "Happy Hardcore Underground" is more about recognising the roots of genre and doing something fun.
Tying back into the initial thread, I don't think you can go far wrong with nabbing the Brisk album, and Happy Hardcore Underground when it goes up. I'm aware you mentioned that Rebuild don't do digital releases, so that might be a stumbling block, but we hope to have a compromise solution sorted in the Summer for this sort of usage case
Variety is the spice of life, and an essential component in cooking up a dish for a dish that satisfies long term. Hopefully our current and impending output reflects that ethos.

No, IMO, I feel the scene has lost it's roots and sound and I feel it has shrunk in size due to this. That is just my opinion, no argument, my opinion. No one is correct. I was just making my view to the topic starter.
I feel an old skool core value would be good for the music, but taking it right back in the right way, which I feel has yet to be done. I tried a little, but tbh I feel the effort was weak and safe in the sound parameter of then and listening now am disappointed in the end products. The music I have checked out at present does nothing for me, but, for the next person it may be amazing!!
Not to chastise the modern scene? Yes, I was saying I actually do feel the whole scene has lost it's way and it's sound. I have heard nothing that offers me another opinion, but this is my opinion and not an argument or referal, just my opinion, we could be here all day debating whos opinion is correct, with no outcome of triumph. Just a simple opinion/view.
Cheers:)
