I see Jimmy J is back, dunno if he is gonna start producing but he's back on some flyers!
Anyone know why he actually left the scene though? I heard he moved to Spain years ago and then came back to the uk and was working for a poker league with Jason Spinback lol

No idea where I heard this from, but apparently he fled the country to escape drug dealers he owed. I'm 105% that is incorrect!

Well considering how tied in drugs are to the scene, I wouldn't be shocked if it was true lol

But I right now don't care either way if he's back producing or not. I sure as hell am not gonna be ecstatic like so many of you were when Bananaman came back, only to find out most of those same people absolutely loathe everything he's doing now.

I'd heard plenty of dodgy rumours as to why he left but he's on Facebook left right and centre, so I doubt it's drugs anything like that.

like i say who knows if its true or not ? if it is true people mess up in life & make bad choices, we've all been there. whatever the truth is i dont care tbh it doesnt make him any less of a DJ/producer either way in my book

Well they won't know where he is. Although if you can afford to move abroad then surely you can afford to pay for some drugs lol.

I'm publicly challenging him on Facebook. I know there is some girl acting as his admin...but Jimmy saying he's spent ages wiring up his setup, which is clearly Ravine's deserves an explanation, does it not?

*edit* I spent a lot of time making something for him whilst at Slammin'/Klub Klass. If he can answer that question, I'll concede.

Also, don't forget he was down to play some event in London last year....and failed to show up.
Don't get me wrong, I loved what he was putting out, and was sound as a pound in Slammin' Vinyl. I just hope nobody is using his name for numbers :/ :/

It was Cott's was it not? Either way I took it for a sarcastic joke.

Fair dues, could have been Cotts' setup.

I have, however, received confirmation that he IS in the UK, and somebody posted a video he made for his come-back set. :)
