I'm desperately trying to I.D this tune that I think came out in early 1998. It was certainly out by March 1998.
Anyway, the tune has no lyrics, and predominantly consists of a melody that could very easily be copied by the horns crew. There is then a piano break down, and some woman going "Oooh woah ooh".
The horn sounding melody goes something like:
da da da da de de DER DE DER DE DER!
da da da da de de DER DE DER DE DER!
da da da da de de DER DE DER DE DER!
It's a song that always reminds me of a football match, as it is actually the type of thing you could see a football crowd doing with horns. I think it came out just before the World Cup in 1998 as well.
I'm not talking about that 'Horns crew don't stop' thing from MC Storm.
Please help me, I really want to find this tune.

That has to be the biggest pile of shit I've ever heard come out of the hardcore scene (and that's including Ravers Anthem and Steamtrain!).

I've found the tune, although it's not quite as good as I remember and I still don't know what it is called. It starts on about 06:38 on this Slipmatt set:

How I got it off that der der der description I don't know but it's dj demo-horns. It uses an Arabic horn sample which as you stated sounds quite football/World Cup related (like them fookin voovoozala things!!).
