So yeah, recorded the first mix in ages that I'm vaguely happy with and thought I'd share it here. Would love to hear any comments etc.
It's been five months since I posted a mix, that's *awful* so here's 45 or so minutes of the finest upfront hardcore for your listening pleasure! There's a fair amount of free tracks on here so visit the artists Soundclouds to get those and please support the labels by buying the tracks at your favourite online retailer.
Other than that, there's a number of Hardcore Underground tracks on here which are only available on physical media so please support them too at www.hardcoreunderground.co.uk

I didn't know there was a 2014 update of My Intention. Absolutely fcuking outstanding track.

Thanks Jay, a couple of minor mistakes but I'm quite pleased, would like to hear your views on it :)
I'm torn between the original and the update of My Intention but both are awesome tracks. I always have to try hard not to put too many Technikore tracks in but he's so consistent!

Decent mix mate! Mix into My Intention was a definite highlight. A few of the transitions were a smudge abrupt but that's just my personal preference as opposed to something you actually did wrong or a mistake.
What did you use to mix it on?
I haven't had a mix I'm fcuking ages man. All my stuff is at my rents' place!

Thanks for taking the time! I think you're right about the abruptness, I think it comes from the fact that I often try to mix quite quickly and also can't seem to get out of the habit of mixing from the very first beat. That's something I would love to work on because it'd definitely make more interesting things possible if I used different cue points.
Which brings me to the next bit - I've got a Traktor Kontrol S2, some KRK's, a computer and some 1980s Pioneer headphones pilfered from my old man. Nothing fancy I'm afraid but I sold my turntables years ago and can't say I really miss them :D
What did you think of the My Intention update? I've just listened to the original and it really isn't more than just that - an update.

Yeah I hear ya man - I'm similar in that sense. Not remotely adventurous with creative mixing. Really should try!

Nice! Love a good pair of KRK's. I've got cheeky pair of 8's myself. They are far, far too loud lol. Stupid purchase. Good fun the odd time I know neighbours are out and I really go for it though.
