amazing the vocal. Chwhynny's vocal is ridiculously good <3. Production is spot on! Daniel Seven is someone to watch going forward & has been since entering the "scene" 17/10
Thank you kindly sir! I had the honour of penning the lyrics to this one. It started off a bit more of a traditional hhc track and Chwhynny nailed the vocals pretty early on, then we roped in Daniel to give the track more of a modern breakbeat touch.

CD3: Scott Brown B2B Al Storm Feat. MC Whizzkid
Idk what to say about some of these tunes without being completely negative. I like all hardcore tunes some what & just don't have much to say about some of them. lol
01: Scott Brown - Obey The Beat
It starts out with an epic piano, then Whizzkid starts rambling a bit too much & it's like ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME?! the tune itself is decent, Whizzkid just seems to ruin it. 7/10
02: Technikore - Closer
one of those tunes that isn't my style, Kinda wish it was a more traditional "Technikore" tune with the big riff, but HEY. still somewhat good! 6/10
03: Scott Brown vs. Bass X - Pilgrim (IYF & Marzi Remix)
"empty" drop, but IYF always pulls through on these to make them listenable. 7/10
04: Nicky Cream - Sound Of My Dream (Scott Brown Remix)
best tune of the mix so far by quite a bit. Scott Brown tears it up! 10/10
05: Al Storm & Euphony feat. Mandy Edge - Hasta Ma?ana
Then this tune tops the previous tune. I heard the preview of this on soundcloud & instantly fell in love <3 TUNEEEEEEEEEE 13/10
06: Scott Brown - Zylax
Not feeling this one, it's cool tho. 6/10
07: Tall Sasha & Ron Reeser - Indigo Sky (Scott Brown Remix)
Another "stand out" tune of the mix. the riff on this is <3. LOVE IT! 10/10
08: Technikore, JTS & Cotts - Monster's Belly
A somewhat more "Technikore" style tune with a different twist due to it being a collab. It's pretty good & I enjoyed it somewhat. 8/10
09: Q-Tex - Power Of Love (Re-Con & Klubfiller Remix)
"stand out tune" for me; I actually like this compared to other's opinions. I think it's well done for the "new style". 10/10
10: Al Storm - Party Goin' Down
Heard this on the HU Live @ Rehab podcast, I liked it somewhat. 8/10.
11: Scott Brown & Al Storm feat. Niki Mak - All My Dreams
"stand out tune" It's usually a TUNE! when Scott Brown & Al Storm collab :) 14/10
12: Plus System - Do It Like We Do (Joey Riot Remix)
One of the best Joey Riot Remixes I've heard in awhile 10/10
13: Sy & Al Storm - Kate's Bush
Just not my "style". Not much to say. 6/10
14: Weaver & Simon Apex - Rockin' All The Clubs (Scott Brown Remix)
Probably my favorite tune on the mix <3 Classic Scott Brown with a new twist 16/10
15: Scott Brown - Promise
I don't think Hardstyle kickdrums work at 170+bpm. but the melodies are good 8/10
16: JTS - Resistance (Scott Brown Remix)
Classic Scott Brown style <3 "Stand out tune" 12/10
17: Al Storm - The Pulse
It's well done & "interesting" a bit "different". Somewhat my thing 9/10
18: Neophyte & Scott Brown feat. Alee - Only Way Out
Not much of a fan of Gabber. Don't know what to say 5/10
At times I wish Whizzkid would just stop rambling.
good mix tho. 8/10 :D

CD1 - Joey Riot B2B Alex Prospect Feat. MCs Obie & Mayhem
01: Joey Riot & Alex Prospect - Keep It Lethal
love the epic melody at the beginning. then it drops to that acid line & I'm like HOLY SHIT. This sounds "fresh" 9/10
02: Joey Riot vs. Dazza - Love Me Again
tuneeeeeeee! good melodies, good vocals. high energy. I dig it ALOT :D so damn good <3 15/10
03: Alex Prospect feat. Becci - Ima Turn It Up
another high energy tune! the MC'n on it is a bit "much". 10/10
04: Al Storm - Dirtbox (Alex Prospect Remix)
epic then REAL TRAP SHIT! #yolo #420 #swag. Very well done. I dig it! :D 10/10
05: Joey Riot vs. Jamie - Cold As Ice
this tune has been done to death. one of those tunes that'd probably sound 10 times better live. 8/10
06: Joey Riot vs. Jaw D - Dreamkast
Really good tune. It's one of the stand out tunes of the mix. I'm just a bit "bored" listening. Powerstomp just seems to have the same kick/bass EVERY tune along with the same fills. Listening live I know I'd dig it. -_- 8/10
07: Alex Prospect - Dedicated
Very "interesting" tune. Surprising like big room core when it's done properly :D 8/10
08: Klubfiller & Alex Prospect - True Feelings
Thee standout tune of the mix! :D <3 seriously holy shit! high energy & melodic as **** 16/10
09: Joey Riot & Klubfiller - Riot In The Club
not much to say :x 6/10
10: Joey Riot vs. It-Man - Dance With Me All Night
I'm running out things to say! Because I think the same about all the tunes under a 9 rating. 7/10
11: Alex Prospect vs. Leif Boii - ADHD
just going to put rating. I'm bored of the mix :xxxx 8/10
12: Joey Riot & Alex Prospect - DJ Turn It Up
9/10
13: Joey Riot & Sophie J - I Turn To You
8/10
14: Alex Prospect - Like It Loud 2014
basically an Avicci tune that's hardcore
8/10
15: Joey Riot vs. Dazza - Leave The World Behind
8/10
16: Alex Prospect - All Falls Down
7/10
17: Joey Riot vs. Darren Grant - I'm The Cook
6/10
What I learned from this mix. The lethal theory sound is "forward thinking" & I understand why so many people like it. But personally; It needs a bit more "variety" on a few things for me to truely dig it :x but yeah.
Also MC Obie & Mayhem are decent :)
9/10. not a 10/10 because of how similar most tunes are :xxxxx

CD2: Fracus & Darwin Vs. Entity Feat. Reese
01: Reese - Cross The Line (Fracus & Darwin Rehab Mix)
The big room core usually doesn't do it for me, but the DnB drop is what makes the tune. I'm a huge fan of the original. It's one of the top 5 favorite tracks of all time. It's good, just wish they original melody was used a bit more. Score: 8/10
02: Fracus & Darwin - Ready To Rock
Originally heard this on Filth & Dumb Hatred, Not one of my favorite tunes from that albums. but it's decent. 7/10
03: Eclipse - 24/7 (Fracus & Darwin Remix)
My kidneys are allowed to failed now, once I heard this remixed happened I was dieing to hear it. I heard it originally on the F&D Summer of Hardcore mix & I was blown away. 15/10(yeah I'm not using a strictly 10 scale)
04: Darwin - Delete The Weak
It's an okay track; not my favorite style that Darwin does, but the rhymes Reese does over it makes me enjoy it. 7/10
05: Redmoon & Meron Ryan - Never Let Go (Fracus & Darwin Remix)
Tune of the year! The vocal is nothing short of amazing of amazing. It's a very professional one which isn't as common for a professional track to have. Reese's rapping is my favorite rhyme he does on the mix. 15/10
06: Entity - Something To Say
Once the piano drop. All I can say is TUNEEEEEEEE. Reese says the word "Swag" on it & it's amazing as you can get . 10/10
07: Darwin & 3Star - Like Fire
Another one of those tracks that isn't my favorite but it's just not my "style". 6/10
08: Skinny & Darwin - Died In Your Arms 2014
Another "big room" hardcore track. It's well done tho. 8/10
09: Fracus & Darwin feat. Poison Rain - No Dark Clouds
one of my new favorite F&D original tunes. 17/10
10: Darwin & Entity - Listen To Us
This track sounds very "Porter Robinson"(idk why) 10/10
11: Daniel Seven & Narconic feat. Chwhynny - Recognise
amazing the vocal. Chwhynny's vocal is ridiculously good <3. Production is spot on! Daniel Seven is someone to watch going forward & has been since entering the "scene" 17/10
12: Future Primitive - Lift Me Up (Fracus & Darwin Rehab Remix)
My favorite tune from the kniteforce 20years album. The alternate bass drop tops the original.
18/10
13: Entity - Stargazer 2014
Another one of my favorite tunes of all tune updated. Really wish it was fully breakbeat tho :x. but still really diggin the straight 4x4 kick style at the moment. 10/10
14: Michael Mansion - Ordinary Ways (Fracus & Darwin Rehab Remix)
Michael Mansion with his amazing vocalist delivers again! Fracus & Darwin do the updated remix justice & bring it all out. 15/10
15: Dougal & Gammer feat. Jenna - Fires In The Sky (Fracus & Darwin Remix)
basically the same thing I said about everything that I rated over a 10. 13/10
10/10. album of the year
This is literally my "dream set"; Reese rappin is exactly what I wanted to hear over a DJ set for the longest time. He kills it!
I could say more but yeah! :D
agreed ; absolutely ****ing banging. the other sets pail in comparison. not to mention Reese on the mic is excellent. puts all the other mc's to shame. definitely reminded of how much i dislike MC's. whizzkid was one of the better MC's but talks way too much. wotsee needs to stfu too... Reese did it perefectly though. did not rap over vocals; short & sweet. really stoked for the set with no MC; def kills the vibe too much for me personally. fracus & & darwin's mix is so much better than all the other mixes too... like holy shittt

OK, it's about time I done a review after finally listening the four mixes in their entirety last night.
One was supposed to be in attendance for this monumental event, but moronic me made a few bad decisions the night before and failed to attend. It was one of the biggest regrets I have since following this music, and after hearing this album... this only digs that dagger a little bit deeper into my heart. Ouch! But I'll not dwell too much on that. Time to tell you what I liked and didn't.
CD1. This was the mix that I thought I'd like the least. And whilst technically it is, I was actually rather surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I won't profess to be the biggest supporter of all things Lethal Theory, but this was enjoyable. I understand there was a lot of problems with this set but I'm glad everyone got there in the end.
The stand out tracks from the mix would be....
Keep It Lethal. I absolutely love the power of the kick drum in this. Alex Prospect's Dirtbox remix, Cold As Ice and True Feeling's.
CD2: The mix I was anticipating most and it certainly delivered. Now obviously I've heard the bulk of the tracks now, thanks to various sets/podcasts etc. but back in May this would have been pretty much 100% fresh.
Great choice to get MC Reese on there. He's been missed over the years within the Hardcore scene and I hope that this spurs him on to either do a bit more producing, or MCing. He compliments the mix beautifully. Keeping things to a minimum and letting the music do the talking. A PROPER MC!!
Stand out tracks include Something To Say, No Dark Clouds, Died In Your Arms 2014, Never Let Go and the new Fracus and Darwin Fires In the Sky update. Man that's f**king epic.
CD3. Onto the Al Storm and Scott Brown set. Plenty of good tracks featured, as expected. A few remixes on there that were slightly unnecessary for me. Not digging the new Pilgrim remix and Power of Love. I really can't look past the '97 version when it comes to the latter.
Still, there was enough to make me enjoy the set. Hasta Manana is absolutely sublime. I'd love to hear more from Mandy Edge. She's such a good vocalist. Closer by Technikore is really cool, and Party Goin' Down is ace.
One thing I will say about the mix is I felt MC Whizzkid blethered on a bit too much. I've always liked him as an MC, but I felt he overdone it a bit. MCing over vocal breakdowns were a bit off putting.
CD4. Chris Fear has quickly became one of my favourite producers over the past year thanks to the phenomenal Bring Back the Rave, and his guest mix on the recent HU Podcast.
Plenty of filthy sounds on this mix, complimented beautifully by Wotsee and Frikshon. Two of the best MC's out there.
Stand out tracks include the ace Brisk and Technikore Hold Your Head Up. Love the Fear and Smith collaborations, particularly Get Ready. Favourite track on the mix has to be Darwin's Music For the Masses. *SHOCK HORROR* but it's really amazing. Oh and obviously Bring Back the Rave. No matter how many times I've listened to that track, it still always makes me smile.
In closing, this is another excellent addition to the ever growing HU album series. Having spoke with various people before and during, I know the blood, sweat and tears that went into this project. It's a really unique concept and it's worked out well for the benefit of everyone who follows this music.
I'd thoroughly recommend anybody purchasing this album. Varied music across the board by people who give a s**t about where this music's been and where it's going.

Whilst i thought the concept was great, i'm not sure about the actual released product.
To be honest though i think this is more a problem with my comprehension of what a live set should be. When i hear the term "live" i think of one of two things. Crazy DMC style mixing and scratching whereby the DJ is crafting mixes and routines they rehearsed especially for the occasion (a bit like Gammers 2 turntable sets), or heavily programmed Ableton sets whereby the music is recreated live on the fly (see any Psytrance act).
I have no idea if the second approach was taken with any of the sets. But i just expected more, such as samples thrown in, or scratch routines learnt and nailed and then recreated on the fly. It also gets to me a little that the MC vox don't seem to have been edited out of the places where there annoying. Whizkid could have been removed a lot especially over Party Going Down. I'm sure i read that the mc's were being recorded through a separate channel so that the sources could be edited distinctly, was this not the case?
The best CD for me is Marc Smith and Chris Fear, followed by Al Storm & Scott Brown. CD 4 flowed so well and it seems there was a lot of material specifically created for that. I do love that this kind of project was able to be pulled off and hope it creates an example to other brands within the Hardcore scene of what can be achieved.
Sorry for the pessimism, i hope this is somewhat constructive and remember its all opinion based.

The MC was picked up by the room mic so any significant editing would mean fakery.
We did it all under incredible pressure and learned a lot. As happy as I am with it, I can see where we can do better

I really like it!
All mixes are great - order of preference would be CD2, CD1, CD4 and then CD3.
All great, though!

Best thing about the variety is that we'll all have our preferred order for the 4 mixes.
I keep switching between 2&3 as my favourite.

Some nice transitions in the mixes across the board.
Good old craftsmanship, like the Bonkers days.
