What does every1 think of marc smith's ****in Trippy
Personally i think it's a beltin tune but it's quite hard to mix into/out of in your set
It's hard to find a slot in the mix aswell as it's a hard tune with blatantly heavy beats!!!!!
How would every1 else place/rate it if you've heard it
Hardcore u know the score!!!!!!!!

I'm not arguing here, but Freeform is nothing like Trance/Trancecore (i am reffering to RB stuff in this case) :P

Freeform and Trancecore are the same thing? "Freeform" was the name given to Trancecore when people started complaining about the name of it. And why "bah"? It's one of the reasons that the Hardcore scene is still alive imo.
Bleh, I'll shut up... can't be arsed to argue.

Hey, it's all Hardcore.....
its good to further classify it into sub-genres, by doing this you can better describe the music, but when we start arguing and bitching about sub-genre this sub-genre that.....the music is totally forgotten.
don't think about what the music is soposed to be, love it for what it is.

personallly saying "its all just hardcore" is bollocks unless you're categorising it as in Dance music, pop music etc. Sub genres are the only way now to put across what style of hardcore you like/play. e.g. i play freeform, i play the harder stuff (e.g. bonkerz), but i dont play raverbaby, happy hardcore etc. Therefore saying "i play hardcore" would technically be wrong
Although alot of people disagree with me on this. Actually i dont think anyone has agreed.

No offense Apollyon, but i think ill have to disagree with you on that one.
Hardcore started out as hardcore back in the old skool days, now its divided into sub-genres: Happycore, Breakcore, Gabba, Trancecore/Freeform.
Now the question is, "what is hardcore?". Hardcore is called 4-beat hardcore by some because its based on a 4-beat pattern. Now all these sub-genres of HARDCORE share this characteristic. Just because the style changes a lil dosnt mean it's no longer hardcore.
ANd again i say: its all just hardcore

But again, all dance music relies on a 4 beat pattern does it not? 4 bars/4 beats.
