Here's a remix I did for a competition recently, only had a few days to do it so it was a bit rushed in the end... Nevertheless, was fun playing with the stems of an absolute classic!!!

I skipped to the drops initially and heard nothing relating to the original.
Afterward I listened to the breakdowns just to see if I had missed something interesting, and it largely sounded like the original had been stitched in there. I'm not sure if that's what Powerstomp is meant to be all about, so I can't really comment. It's decently produced in technical terms, but not the style I enjoy, nor is it particularly a remix as supposed to a mash up.

I have to agree, it does sound more like a mashup between an original production and the piano piece from the original. Not that the track itself sounds bad.
It doesn't really sound like Powerstomp to me. If anything, it sounds more like DJ Kurt's older Powerbounce stuff rather than the crap they make now :P
