This is sort of in the current Nu style/ E-plus sorta sound. I think it kicks ass, but who knows. It might be a bit fast at 189BPM.
http://mp3.com.au/track.asp?id=43032 Hopefully real producers/dj's can take me seriously now. -=[ryg0r]=-

Awesome f***ing track, dude. Well structured, well produced, and that's a killer melody over a killer bassline. The break-downs and builds are something to behold as well.
Weak points? The vox sample is actually kinda annoying in that it's almost underdone compared to the rest of the track. Throw a shitload more filters at it, maybe? Or just use it a bit less, or replace it with something more interesting (like a sample from a hip-hop song or sci-fi flick or something) ... I dunno, maybe even keep it as a non-vocal track - f*** knows the rest of it is good enough to stand alone.
As for the speed, it's only really noticeable at the start before the all the other stuff starts to happen; after that it just seems natural.
All in all, an excellent track - and you're right, it's not far off the E-plus sound (and I'm not talking "worse", just "different"). And yeah, it does kick ass.

dude its a KILLER TUNE!
i think ive told you this b4, but i want some of this stuff on whitelabel! i even gave you a link last time so you could get some vinyl pressed, then i can buy some!
you know it sounds like plus systems stuff when it has that clap on the off beat, love that clap. whenever i mix plus system tracks i cant help tweaking the HI eq every time to that clap :P - love it
i must agree with strychnine, the vox is a bit flat, i actualy really like how it sounds and how you have it in the track (this would be a killer track to mix in and out with that vox) but its a tad flat compared to the rest of the song, almost as tho its just not as good quality.
anyway tops work!

^^ ummm ... your post got cut off, but I assume you want clarification of my remarks re the vocal?
I think it's weak (compared to the rest of the track) - TBH I think the track'll sound good enough without it. It's just that the sample has no emotion in the way that it's said, no emphasis, no real interest IMO. At any rate, it just doesn't seem to fit in with the rest, especially in the way it emphasises the "messiness" of the intro.
Just my $0.02 worth, and with the qualification that I still think it's a fecking CHOOOON.

Nah i think it's fine, but it would blend alot better maybe with some delay or reverb :)
And alot better than the first one :) Much better synths :)

^^ personally, I'd blast the vocal with so many filters and effects that it sounds like it's being spoken by Locutus of the Borg or something, and then use a lot of echoes and time-stretch in the right places to make it sound more like a sound being played like an instrument, and less like a sample being repeated over and over again.

Yeah the remix is better (than the original Hallelujah) I've learnt a lot since then. (Thanx to Bonkers 9)
But I was going for the sample, dry vox effect, not like the crazy deep psycho flanged "I'm taking over your mind" effect.
The thing is with white label, is that I need the money first - and when its pressed, its not guaranteed it'll sell - so I guess I need a job first - does any one here have a job for me?
And silver, please listen to my track.

I get your drift, but I find dry vox work better when the sample has some kind of interest in and of itself (eg Gang Bang Society, Definition of a Bad Boy), else it sounds, well, a little too dry. Meh.
