This means that I will actually be able to get a Shimamura album for a change! :)
I've always wanted Max and Elektronix but I couldn't handle the poor j-core.biz website or whatever it was sold on?
Can't see myself getting the others unfortunately as when you look for Elektronix on discogs to find 'Last sold: Never' :(

Pulled my finger out and managed to find a copy of MAX (weather it will get here or not I dunno.) but finding Elektronix will be a different story...

The real question is why this isn't available on any download store. It's 2015 and we're still talking about shipping physical boxes from Japan? Amazon Japan has an mp3 store so I have no clue why it's not just being sold there, and don't start about piracy because it'll be uploaded as an mp3 download regardless within a week of the CD coming out.
Now anyone that's been a fan of Japanese hardcore knows that they make it -extremely- hard to be a fan, but I want to support the artist and am basically told I either have to shell out ?25 for an album or get nothing at all.
I suppose me ranting will make no difference because I've done it for 10 years without any difference being made (lol).

Well if you dont mind dodgy (well not dodgy, but rather NSFW), you can go visit DLsite(.com). It has not many labels, but I've seen a few Notebook records and Le Dos-on there. You don't need to shell out 25 quid if you order from the japanese stores instead of discogs.
tbh, I don't mind ordering from Guhroovy. I'm more pissed of on english labels seems to go towards limited releases instead.

Exactly, I've never understood why people have such trouble buying Japanese artists' CDs when it's just as expensive as buying a CD from HU or something (which aren't released digitally either) and the stuff they want usually isn't obscure at all.
If you really want something people, do the research and put the effort into buying it!

It seems like places I buy from anywhere else in the world and especially including HU, Rebuild, Stamina, anyone I've bought from on Discogs, etc. are more than happy to offer international shipping. It's like Japanese isolation for electronic music, unless you're after really popular stuff (video game or anime soundtrack, Super Eurobeat ...) and even then it's usually at the inflated Japanese prices.
One of the sites listed on Shimamura's website to order Fenix from ships internationally:
http://diverse-direct.com/ Their shipping prices are not bad and it shipped to the USA really quickly; it arrived within two weeks. I bought Fenix and two other CDs, came out to about $20 a CD total.

i think Dj Shimamura's sound is very much Digital Hardcore - as it has Punkish elements mixed with Hardkore!
