Old news, indeed, but heard on the KU Radio/Podcast (ep 34) the other day that Stu Infinity had been signed to KU recently - a good or bad move for you?

The guy's productions are nothing but awesome, pretty much love everything he's put out and I have quite a lot of respect for KU. Hopefully provides him with a platform to release his material regularly. Had a feeling HU would snatch him, though. I was wrong!

Other than working on Last Goodbye with Darren Hotchkiss, I can't think of anything else he's done, especially recently. So makes no difference for me.

Last Goodbye is still awesome, agreed.

He did quite a lot of bootlegs over the last couple of years that he put up for free on his SoundCloud, which were well worth the grab. He gets quite a bit of support on the HU podcast from time to time and he seems to be releasing more and more stuff as of late and it all sounds very good.

I didn't know he was still regularly producing hardcore, I have a bunch of his tunes from years past though, really good.
As long as he's making decent music and getting relatively regular releases, then a well known label can't do any harm.

He's still a very good producer. I just hope that Klubbed Up doesn't spell the end if that.

And has he signed to the label, or has he just got a release with them? Annoys me when people think it's the same thing.

I don't see how this can possibly be a good thing. I mean, the guy totally deserves to be signed to a "major" label but Klubbed Up?

For my money, he's still comfortably one of the best producers in the modern hardcore scene. I hope nothing changes.

I didn't know this!!

If I'm completely honest, this news just made my heart drop a little. He is one of my favourite producers and his hardcore is excellent. I don't like the majority of what Klubbed Up do, and I really hope that this move doesn't influence his production at all.

By the way he introduces the track it sounds like an artist signing rather than just a release but it isn't 100% clear now that you've said that. I'd made the assumption because he announces all artist signings on the podcast like that. I could be wrong!

The tune that gets played is a banger, though!

I don't see why signing for Klubbed Up would influence his productions. It's just an outlet for his tunes at the end of the day and it's better known than his previous outlet whatever that was.

Fwiw I think he's a decent producer, nothing spectacular...so he probably fits the Klubbed up bill perfectly.
