does anyone else think there is 2 much active topics, i do it takes me bout 1 hour and a half 2 get through them cant u cut it down 2 about 20 to 30 or something?

Yeah but more active topics is naturally going to come with the site growing bigger in population and reputation  . I personally read every active topic and it does take time, I have the time to spare unlike many, however cutting the active topics down is a big no really, topics are only active if a new reply has been made to a post. The only thing you can really do is try and cut the active topics down, the main way to do that is for the mod's to stop spamming & also stop topic digging....apart from that there's no other way i can really see of sorting it out.

I feel sorry for the mods.They av 2 look through all the posts everyday as part of there jobs (respect goin out 2 the mods Strychnine,Weba d etc)
Although a do want to be1 maself.

Yeah,there seem to be too many active topics in the last few days.
And it takes me ages to get through them,I cant keep on top of them
anymore!

some ways to cut down on active topics
read the titles and pick the ones that interest you
stop going off topic, you wanna talk random crap use pms, there are a few users active now that i'll stop reading most threads or skip their posts because they are usually pointless and irrelevant
log in more often
just some thoughts =)

That's primarily because there was an un-named tool who joined and start posting crap. Dont worry, once a topic gets locked, it'll get deleted.
Also, if you see a "locked" topic, IMO theres no point to read it, you obviously cant reply.
